Eggplant, lime green, or tomato red make it clear that we are facing a season of vibrant colors.
Lime Green
Acidic tones are a frequent chromatic choice in the spring-summer season, and 2026 will be no exception. Lime green returns as one of the favored bets of creatives, with coats and dresses among the absolute must-have pieces to let dopamine dressing run free. It can be combined with neutral tones, as seen at Valentino, or contrasted with other trending colors, such as purple, as proposed by Prada.

Cloud Dancer
As expected, the color chosen as Pantone’s color of the year also appears in the dominant palette for 2026. Cloud Danceris a kind of off-white that colors total looks like those from Balenciaga or Chloé. The good thing about this color is that it can adapt to many styles, from Proenza Schouler’s tailoring to the bohemian touch of Ulla Johnson.

Eggplant
Purple is a tone with a strong presence that emerges in collections like Balenciaga or Prada: if great color-loving designers such as Pierpaolo Piccioli or Miuccia Prada have chosen it, it’s something to take very seriously for your 2026 wardrobe. Designers use it through dresses, but it can also be added in accessories like an Hermès bag, a Moschino polo, or a Versace blazer. For the more daring, a total look like Burberry’s is the perfect outfit for a concert.

Tomato Red
It’s a season of powerful colors, and red takes absolute prominence among the spring-summer 2026 color trends. The key is choosing total looks with different textures, like Chanel tweed combined with layered pearl necklaces and a feathered headpiece. The other styling option is to pair it with contrasting shades: Loewe gave a masterclass in chromatic mastery in its summer collection by combining red with tones like beige or pale yellow. Pure inspiration for those who don’t want to go unnoticed. Otherwise, black is always a reliable ally, as shown by Brandon Maxwell and Ashlyn.

Mint Green
One of those pastel colors that repeats next season is mint green. There’s good reason for it: it’s irresistible in sophisticated dresses like those from Valentino or Chanel, and gains new dimensions when it dyes a 1960s-style vinyl coat or a polo combined with yellow (another standout tone), as proposed by Jonathan Anderson at Dior.

Butter Yellow
The color that flooded everything in 2025 (including décor) appears again as one of the most potent tonal proposals for spring-summer 2026. We’ll see a lot of butter yellow on coats and trousers (according to Loewe), in skirts (ideas from Chloé and Christopher Esber), or in shirts with sheer details (Aje). It’s impossible to resist its intrecciato version on Bottega Veneta bags and to combine it with soft pink.

Soft Pink
It’s hard to find a spring collection where sugary pink doesn’t make an appearance: Simone Rocha, Louis Vuitton, or Balenciaga opt for a shade closer to white, while Gucci, Karoline Vitto, or Edeline Lee prefer a saturation closer to bubblegum pink. The winning format? A dress, plain or printed, to combine with black or white accessories. Another idea is to add pistachio-green shoes, as seen at Conner Yves.

Burgundy
One of the quintessential autumn tones transitions equally well into the warmer months to color any garment or accessory you can think of. Miu Miu includes it in clutch-style bags, while Givenchy plays with transparencies and Saint Laurent with the shiny finish of its powerful trenches. In Carolina Herrera’s hands, it prints architectural dresses embellished with rose motifs, while at Celine it’s combined with tones like red. In knit and crochet, Dior and Chanel play with outfits and layers.
