from the Faux-Fur Jacket to the Perfect Black Pants: my 6 faves from the Zara x Ludovic de Saint Sernin Collection

When I first saw the new Zara x Ludovic de Saint Sernin collection, I knew it was exactly what my wardrobe had been waiting for. It’s that perfect winter blend of sensuality, shine, and edge — the kind of pieces that make you feel powerful, glamorous, and effortlessly cool. Between the shimmer, the studs, and the soft fake fur, this collaboration captures the essence of Ludovic’s cosmopolitan aesthetic, while still being totally wearable — and accessible — thanks to Zara.

The campaign, fronted by Alex Consani and Amelia Gray, feels like stepping into Ludovic’s universe. I couldn’t agree more with what the designer said about the launch: “What we’ve created together is my idea of the perfect wardrobe: exceptional-quality pieces that I want to wear, that I want my friends to wear — that I want everyone to wear.” Honestly, same.

But since I can’t have everything (at least not yet), I narrowed down my list to six pieces that I absolutely need in my closet. Here are my personal favorites:

1. The Faux-Fur Jacket

Nothing excites me more about winter than the moment I can pull out my fake-fur coats again. This one, though, is next-level. It has that ’70s vibe that’s been dominating the runways — a clear nod to the Autumn/Winter 2025–2026 trends— but with that sultry, Saint Sernin twist that makes it feel fresh and confident. It’s pure drama, in the best way.

2. The Sparkle for Party Season

Few things scream holiday season like shine and glitter. I’ve always been a sucker for metallics, and this silver halter dress might just be my dream festive outfit. It’s sleek, sophisticated, and gives off that old-Hollywood glamour — perfect for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, or any night that calls for a little sparkle (or a lot).

3. The Leather Trench — with a Twist

A trench coat is one of those pieces that never lets you down. But Ludovic reimagined it in leather, with a more structured, rockstar edge, and I’m obsessed. It feels powerful — a mix between timeless elegance and rebellious energy. Definitely the kind of coat that can define an entire outfit.

4. The Perfect Black Trousers

If there’s one wardrobe staple I swear by, it’s a pair of perfect black pleated trousers. Saint Sernin’s version, originally designed for men, fits that relaxed, confident silhouette I love — whether oversized, carrot fit, or slim. Personally, I prefer them from the men’s section: they hang better, feel cooler, and work with everything. Winter with a cozy knit, summer with a tank top — they’re truly seasonless.

5. The Beauty Touch

Yes, the collection even extends into beauty accessories, and I’m here for it. The gua sha and face roller are the kind of self-care tools I love having on my vanity. As the year winds down, taking care of myself (and my skin) feels more important than ever — and these are perfect little indulgences to add to the routine.

The full Zara x Ludovic de Saint Sernin collection drops on November 17 at zara.com and in select stores worldwide. Honestly, I can’t wait — because if this is how we’re ending the year, I’m already excited for what 2026 fashion has in store.
