my Spring–Summer 2026 Pants Trends guesses !

  • 2 min read

For spring–summer 2026, a wide range of pant styles will be trending, offering options for different tastes and occasions. The season expands the variety of silhouettes, colors, and nostalgic references on offer.

1. Tailored Trousers

Classic tailored pants remain essential and continue to be a mainstay. References to 1980s styling appear in many collections, with options ranging from sleek, simple designs to menswear-inspired pieces. Designers like Stella McCartney, Acne Studios, Victoria Beckham, and Chanel showcase updated versions of this timeless style.

2. “Cloud Dancer” White Pants

White pants, particularly in the season’s Pantone “Cloud Dancer” hue, are featured prominently. Designers are experimenting with relaxed cuts, French-inspired simplicity, and textured or detailed finishes from houses such as Celine, Victoria Beckham, and Bottega Veneta. These versatile white trousers are positioned as a key seasonal neutral.

3. Balloon and Baggy Pants

Voluminous balloon and baggy pants continue to dominate as a stylish, comfortable choice. These wide, airy silhouettes — somewhere between loungewear and high fashion — appear in pieces that mix movement with sophistication. Versions vary from capri-length cuts to ethereal, flowing designs by brands like Balmain and Balenciaga.

4. Microshorts

Very short shorts are highlighted as one of the standout trends, with runway interpretations from labels such as Palomo Spain and Loewe. These mini lengths are shown paired with layers (like blazers or long outerwear), suitable for both transitional weather and warmer days.

5. Capri Pants

Capri-length pants — hitting around mid-calf — are making a notable comeback. Evoking a classic, effortless aesthetic, they are positioned as a go-to for spring outings and warm weather looks. Pairing well with everything from layered tops to lighter camisole pieces, capri pants reference nostalgia while feeling modern.
