As I look ahead to what fashion will bring in Spring–Summer 2026, I find myself already thinking about the key colors, inspirations, and standout pieces that I know will define the season. I want to start the year prepared — style-wise — so here are the trends I’m most excited about:

1. Pale Pink Is My Go-To Color
For me, no color captures the mood of SS26 better than pale pink. It’s a shade I keep seeing on runways and I love how versatile it feels — from barely-there pastel to a bubblegum punch of color. I’ve seen it styled in total looks like skirt-and-blazer sets, polo shirts with satin skirts, and even accessorized with unexpected details like fringe and ribbons. It’s soft, flattering, and perfect for mixing with bold or neutral pieces.

2. Lingerie-Inspired Looks — and the Bra as Outerwear
One of the trends I can’t get enough of is showing a bit more skin — especially with lingerie-inspired pieces. I’m talking about visible bras and bikini tops paired under everything from blazers to casual pieces. It feels fresh, bold, and perfect for that just-back-from-the-beach vibe I’m drawn to in warm weather dressing. Whether it’s a lacy bra under a suit or a cut-out top with a relaxed silhouette, this trend feels playful and fearless.

3. Utilitarian Style With a Glamorous Twist
Utility-inspired pieces are popping up everywhere, and I love how they’re being reimagined. Think khaki greens, cargo pockets, and workwear elements — but styled with silk dresses or delicate fabrics to give them a chic contrast. I’ve seen over-shirts worn with flowing gowns and cargo details paired with elegant eveningwear. It’s practical yet undeniably stylish, and I’m all in.

4. Statement Necklaces Are a Must
Accessories will be a big part of my looks in 2026, especially pendant necklaces. I’m drawn to oversized chains with bold pendants — almost like wearable luck charms. Some even double as tiny bags, which adds that perfect blend of fashion and functionality I’m always chasing.

5. A New Appreciation for Contrasts
What excites me most about 2026 is the way trends are embracing contrasts — dark tones like black and burgundy sitting alongside festive and playful hues; minimal shapes mixed with ornate details. From baroque looks full of sensuality to striking utilitarian pieces, I feel like fashion is ready to have fun again.
