my -TOP 2025 color trends, from Powder Pink to Slime Green

For me, 2025 isn’t just another season—it’s a canvas for bold color expression. These are the hues I’m obsessed with this year, and how I’m bringing them into my lookbook, styling experiments, and everyday wardrobe. The 2025 color trends capture the duality of bold self-expression and cozy warmth, wich im in love with!

It’s was not all about discovering brand-new shades this year—some of my favorite colors from all time are still going strong. The soft, powdery blush that evolved from the Barbie-pink craze of 2023 continues to feel fresh and romantic, perfect for transitioning into cooler months.

And the deliciously rich Mocha Brown (Pantone’s “Mocha Mousse”) hasn’t gone anywhere—it’s a timeless favorite I’m seeing everywhere, from Fendi’s elegant tonal suits to Saint Laurent’s sleek monochrome looks. I’m also loving how Prada and Gucci are pairing subtle greens and lavenders for a dreamy, unexpected twist.

And of course, Siren Red isn’t giving up its spotlight anytime soon. Whether it’s a full look à la Acne Studios or just a bold accessory moment inspired by Ferragamo, red remains a color of confidence and power in my palette.

Even if you’re someone who gravitates toward neutrals, 2025 offers ways to play with color without feeling overwhelmed. Slime Green is surprisingly wearable as a neutral accent, and the endless shades of blue—from pale sky to deep cobalt—mix effortlessly with creams, whites, and browns.

These are the tones defining 2025 for me—familiar yet forward, and perfect for experimenting with your own personal style story.

Powder Pink

Soft yet strong, powder pink remains a favorite. It’s refined and romantic, but not saccharine—showing up in everything from tailored suits to flowy dresses. I’m using it to soften sharp silhouettes and add a feminine whisper to power looks.

Pink continues to retain a light touch. Strong yet girly—this pink has spanned Khaite, Alaïa, Miu Miu, and Loewe. This softer, more delicate shade is endlessly versatile, appearing in both feminine and modern styles, from romantic dresses to structured tailoring.

Chili Pepper Red

Red isn’t subtle in 2025—it’s a declaration. I lean on chili pepper red for statement pieces: coats, dresses, accessories. It’s bold, it’s confident, and it works beautifully when pared with simple neutrals like black or grey to let it shine.

We’re gearing up for yet another siren red fall and winter. The vibrant maraschino hue was spotted in striking, head-to-toe monochromatic looks from a plethora of designers, like Altuzarra, Calvin Klein, Ashlyn, Christopher John Rogers, Fforme, Acne Studios and Sergio Hudson. The best part? It can easily be worn with black and white for a bold statement, or tempered against grey and navy.

Mocha Brown

Earthy, comforting, and surprisingly chic. Mocha Brown grounds the palette with warm depth. Whether in knits, outerwear or accessories, I see it as a versatile “new neutral” that anchors brighter pops.

Every year, Pantone declares the color of the next 12 months ahead; a hue to define the mood and set the tone, if you will. For 2025, it’s a subdued kind of chocolate brown, aptly named mocha mousse. Give it a go with Prada’s pajama-style shirt, Gucci’s suede shoulder bag, or Khaite’s Western-inspired Clive boot.

Shades of Blue

From icy pastels to electric cobalt, blue is everywhere. For me, it’s the perfect counterbalance — serene but strong. I mix denim-inspired tones with airy lightweight pieces to get that cool, modern feel.

In 2025, blue is trending in assorted shades, providing a blend of tranquility and tenderness. Key shades include icy blues, cobalt, and cyan. These tints are universal, varying from faint and serene to decadent and assertive, and they can be styled in many ways for a contemporary yet traditional look.

Slime Green

Unexpected, edgy, and totally fresh. Slime green isn’t for the faint of heart — I use it as a pop tone or contrast accent in accessories or detailing, especially when layered against neutral bases like beige or black.

Not quite forest, nor full-on Brat Summer, this version of lime green rivals that of Tom Ford’s Fall 2018 runway show. The key to wearing it? Use it as a grounding neutral among beige, black, brown, and white.

Electric Aubergine

Deep purple gets its moment too. Electric aubergine brings a dramatic flair — ideal for evening pieces or standout accents. I’m layering it into editorial looks that demand attention without going over the top.

For the person who prefers their fall/winter colors as dark as the season’s essence, this one is for you. Electric purple showed up on the runway in a draped top at Dries Van Noten, a backless gown at Colleen Allen, and button-up blouses at Tom Ford. Go head-to-toe and wear Khaite’s Keefe top with a pair of satin Dries trousers, or use it as a punchy statement separately.
